HOLCIM IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Holcim operates in over 80 countries around the world, 25 of which are in the Middle East and Africa. The group employs nearly 14 500 individuals in 46 cement and grinding plants in these two regions alone.

Besides the cement factories, Holcim also runs 34 aggregates plants and 220 ready-mix concrete factories in the Middle East and Africa. Together, these plants generate just under 4 million Swiss Francs (~9.3 billion TZS) in sales per year.
